Barbershop Premium Mustache Wax

I’ve tried a handful of styling waxes for facial hair and this is the only one I will buy going forward. I might try different scents, but Bearded Bastard has the only wax with the right hold and ease of use. It also doesn’t use excess oil or ANY petroleum so my skin remains in great condition. Before mustache wax, my mustache was not merely unwieldy and unsightly, it also ran the very real danger of curling into my mouth when taking a huge bite of cheeseburger. Lest you think that hair in your mouth is the most concerning point, let me dispel such notions: The worst is pulling out your own mustache hairs with your teeth.

I'm really impressed. I've used LOTS of products on my beard and mustache, but this stuff is really awesome. Other waxes of this quality require heat from a blow dryer and a lot of fiddling. I am able to use this with or without heat. Other waxes this thick will clump in my mustache making it look like I have boogers in my stache. Once between my fingers, this stuff smooths out to a nice consistency and goes in super easy, has a FANTASTIC hold (like even after sleeping) and the scent is really nice without being overwhelming.

I thought the hold was very good. My moustache can be a real pain and this does a good job. It seems no matter what brand of wax I get the moustache will droop, will not hold a curl; most irritating, but this wax seemed to hold the curl for a bit longer than some others. I was not real crazy about the fragrance; can't say that I notice any semblance of a barber shop. I thought the "Early Riser" was much better but it didn't have the hold.

This is hands down the best mustache wax I’ve ever used. The hold is perfect for me and the scent is as described “nostalgic “.
