My item arrived damaged
- Well, damn! That's unfortunate. If you send us a picture of the damaged product along with a picture of the packing slip to help@thebeardedbastard we’ll get you sorted with a replacement straight away.
This is not what I ordered
- Although we try hard to ensure 100% accuracy every time, we're not perfect. Send us a picture of your received items along with a pic of the packing slip to help@thebeardedbastard we will send you along the correct items.
It’s been X amount of days since I placed my order and it’s still not here — what’s the deal??
- We love the USPS, and most of the time they're very reliable, but there are also times when things get… lost.
- If you have waited two whole weeks from the date you ordered and it still hasn't shown up, e-mail us at help@thebeardedbastard with your order number. We will report the lost package to USPS and work with you to come up with a solution.
I didn’t mean to buy all this stuff!
- While we are sympathetic to this issue — trust us — but ultimately we are not able to be responsible for mistakes ordered while whiskey-drunk. Watch yourselves!
I entered the wrong address!
- No problem. Just e-mail us at help@thebeardedbastard as soon as you can and we’ll fix it in our system. However, if you don't get to us before the package has already shipped, you will be responsible for any additional shipping costs incurred in recovering the package.
I am trying your beard oil for the first time and my nose is happy but my skin is not!
- ALLERGIES: While we use only the finest natural ingredients in our oils, it is possible that some of that stuff is not compatible with your specific skin type. This is why we suggest TESTING A SMALL AREA on your wrist before applying all over your beard to make sure all of our ingredients are compatible with your particular skin type. If you have any kind of allergic reaction DISCONTINUE USE of our product and get in touch with us at help@thebeardedbastard. If possible please include your order # or a receipt from a third party retailer in your message. We'll help to come up with a solution for you.
I have a special request for my order.
- We have a NOTES section at the bottom of the screen on our checkout page. If you put your special request in there we’ll make sure it get’s taken care of by our dedicated packing and shipping team! Additionally, if it's a really super important or complex request you should send it along to help@thebeardedbastard in addition to putting it in the NOTES section and we'll do our damnedest to do it for you.
How do I grow an amazing beard?

Can I return products?
- We do accept returns on some products. If you are unsatisfied for any reason, please reach out to our team.
Where do you ship to?
- We ship all over and offer free shipping ($50 or over) to domestic Bastards.
Do your products expire?
- Most of our products have a very long shelf-life. However, we never use fillers or preservatives so they may lose some potency over time. Get in touch with us to find out if your item has any expiration concerns.
How long does it take to ship international orders?
- It depends on how far away you live from Austin, TX. We do our best to ship international orders in a timely fashion. Feel free to reach out to us if you are concerned that your item won’t arrive when you need it.
How do I pick the right scent?
- Our scent finder is the perfect way to explore our unique scent selections. We have scents for every kind of Bastard and sample packs that are perfect for experimentation.

- Our customer’s trust is everything to us. We ensure that your data and personal info is safe and secure and will never sell your details to third parties without consent.

- If you want to change email addresses, just simply sign up with that email address. Otherwise, you can request changes through your account.
How do I unsubscribe?
- We would be sad to see you go, however, there will be an opt-out option at the bottom of our email updates and newsletters. If you only want to opt-out of some emails, please let us know and we may be able to help.

What is your rewards program?
- Our rewards program is a fun way to thank our customers like you for using and sharing our site. By purchasing products and sharing us on social media, you can earn points that will unlock money-saving coupon codes. Click the button at the bottom of our site to create an account and get started!

- Just about anyone can join our rewards program. You will need a working, internet-connected device and a bit of Bastardly mojo.

What are the rewards tiers?
- Building points will increase your progress bar. Once you have filled your progress bar, you will receive a coupon code. After that, you can start building your bar again for more coupon codes!
What are the rewards?
- Earning points will reward you with special coupon codes. Apply your coupon code at checkout to receive discounts and product specials.
How do I earn points?
- Earning points is fun, which is why there are a few different ways to earn points:
- Complete an order
- Sign up for an account
- Product review (on a paid plan, using an app integration)

How do I redeem points?
- To turn points into a reward, you will need to log into your account. Click on the launcher to open the rewards panel and check your progress bar. If you have enough points, you can click the “Redeem” button that will take you to a page with the available discount code to be used a checkout.
When do my points become available?
- Your points should become available shortly after making a purchase. If you haven’t received points, feel free to contact us and we should be able to get your account straightened out.
How do I check my rewards points?
- Just log into your account and you will see a progress bar that tracks your point accumulations.
Do my rewards ever expire?
- Reward points should never expire as they are represented on your account’s progress bar.
Can I share my points?
- If you are feeling generous, you can share your coupon codes with friends and spread the love of premium beard care!
